Cost of college went up for all students at Thomas More College

Tuition and fees rose 3.1 percent for 2018-19 at Thomas More College, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Kentucky students paid $31,200 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year – $930 more than the $30,270 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 99 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 347 students received grants or scholarships totaling $7 million and 261 students took out student loans totaling more than $1.7 million.

Including all undergraduates (2,253), 1,261 students used grants or scholarships totaling $23.3 million, and 952 students took out $6.7 million in federal student loans.
