Brighton Center's Center for Employment Training enrolls 125 undergrads

At Brighton Center's Center for Employment Training, 67 percent of undergraduate students are nontraditional students - age 25 or older - and 88 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The private not-for-profit school in Newport enrolled 125 students in fall 2018, all in undergraduate programs, data shows. No undergraduates were transferred from another college or university.

98 percent of undergraduates are residents of Kentucky, and 2 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (59 percent) and Black or African American (31 percent).
