Independence, KY – Sharon M. Hoffman, aged 70, of Independence, passed away on Friday, July 18, 2025 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Fort Thomas. Sharon, a retired bus driver for Transit Authority of Northern KY (TANK), lived life to the fullest, cherishing experiences such as bingo, bowling, shopping, and visits to casinos.

Sharon’s adventurous spirit and love for family made her the life of any gathering, especially during holidays. She was the daughter of the late George and Rose Hoffman and was predeceased by her sister, Sandie Nare, and nephew, Patrick Nare. Sharon is survived by her sister Cindy Donnermeyer, brothers Larry, George, and John Hoffman, numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great nieces, great-great nephews, and many cousins and friends.

A visitation will be held on Friday, July 25 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Holy Spirit Church in Newport, with Mass to follow at 11:00 am. Sharon will be laid to rest at Mother of God Cemetery in Covington, KY. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
