Florence, KY – Ruth Wilson, aged 91, of Florence, peacefully passed away on August 29, 2025. Born in Burkesville, KY, on October 7, 1933, to Millard Shaw and Annie Mae Shaw, Ruth’s life was a testament to her unwavering devotion to family.

Following her husband Dallis on his work travels around the country, Ruth’s love and care were centered on her 6 children, 8 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her husband Dallis Wilson and daughter Linda, along with 5 brothers and 4 sisters, Ruth is survived by siblings Kenny Shaw (Brenda) and Robbie Sipple (Blaney), children Susie Hawkins (Mark), Barbara Bowmann (Ken), Shirley Stein (Jeff), Roger Wilson (Kim), and Candy Gavin (Gary), and her adored grandchildren and extended family.

The Visitation is scheduled from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, followed by a Private Family Service at 5:00 PM on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, at Stith Funeral Home in Florence, KY. Ruth’s final resting place will be at the Hubbard Family Cemetery in Edmonton, KY.
