Latonia – Roger Dale Turner, 79, of Latonia, passed away on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Edgewood. Born on September 5, 1946, in Dayton, Kentucky, he was the son of the late James Turner and Dovie Hobbs Turner.

Roger, a retired Truck Driver, devoted many years to his profession and thoroughly enjoyed navigating the roads. Known for his passion for cars, he found joy in buying and selling vehicles, showcasing his talent in the art of making deals. Described as a kind, loving man, Roger’s humorous spirit shone through his constant jokes and jovial interactions with others.

He is survived by his son, Jimmy Turner; grandson, Shane Turner; siblings Lana Hobbs, Joe Hobbs, Faye Howard, Janet Howard, Karen Turner, John Turner, and Rhonda Turner. Roger was also preceded in death by his grandson, Jimmy Turner, and 14 siblings.

A funeral service will be held at 11AM on Monday, December 22, 2025, at Floral Hills Funeral Home, Chapel A, officiated by Mike Sweeney. Visitation will take place on Monday from 10-11 AM, with burial to follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
