Fort Thomas, KY – Robert “Scruff” Henegar Sr., 74, passed away on June 13, 2025, at St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood, Kentucky. Born on December 8, 1950, in Covington, Kentucky, to John and Lucille Tuttle, Robert was a retired Pipefitter with Local #392. He brought joy and camaraderie to the Newport Elks Lodge #273, Taylor Mill Moose Lodge #1469, and Dayton Eagles.

An athlete at heart, Scruff found pleasure in golf, bowling, softball, and puzzles. A beloved husband to Michelle (Macke) Henegar, father to Kimberly (Michael) Hogan and Robert Jr. (Stephanie) Henegar, he also leaves behind brothers, sisters, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. His life was marked by sport, family, and a zest for life.

Visitation will take place on June 20, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St. Thomas Church in Ft. Thomas, Kentucky, followed by Mass of Christian Burial. A Celebration of Life will be hosted on June 21, 2025, from 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM at the Newport Elks Lodge. All are welcome to honor and remember Robert’s life.
