Thomas Massie, who has represented Kentucky’s 4th district in the U.S. Congress since 2012, shared a series of posts on social media addressing both political and personal topics. Massie, an MIT graduate born in Huntington, West Virginia, has maintained an active presence online to communicate his perspectives.

On July 12, 2025, Massie commented on a previous post by stating “Good call.” The context of the referenced content was not specified within the tweet.

In a post dated July 15, 2025, Massie reflected on his late wife Rhonda’s views regarding political decision-making in Washington D.C., quoting her as saying “what they’re doing in DC isn’t 3D chess, they’re chewing on the checkers and arguing which tastes better, red or black.” Rhonda held an engineering degree from MIT.

Later that same day, Massie drew a distinction between different factions within the MAGA movement by posting: ‘MAGA: “We want you to name and prosecute Epstein’s clients.” MAGA Inc: “Best we can do is $1.8 million of ads against the most fiscally conservative member of Congress.”’

Thomas Massie has served in Congress since succeeding Geoff Davis in 2012. He previously held office in the Kentucky House of Representatives and as Lewis County Judge Executive. Now age 52 and residing in Garrison, he graduated from MIT with a BS degree in 1993.
