On Saturday, Nov. 29, former Randall K. Cooper High School standout Jeremiah Lee’s current collegiate team the Ferris State Bulldogs won 56-24 against the Ashland Eagles in the NCAA Division II Football Championship.
The game took place at Top Taggart Field at 1 p.m. and was the first matchup against the Ashland Eagles in the tournament.
The Ferris State Bulldogs’ next game will take place on Saturday, Dec. 6 at 1 p.m. at Top Taggart Field.
Northern Kentucky University Norse baseball lost their Saturday matchup against UNC Greensboro by a score of 17-6. After taking an early lead, NKU could not recover from UNCG’s offensive surge through the middle innings.
Northern Kentucky University Norse softball won its weekend series against Robert Morris after splitting Saturday’s doubleheader. The team honored five seniors before securing victory in game two following a tough loss earlier that day.
