Nancy Felty Smith, 92, of Elsmere, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 14, 2025. Born in Ashland, Kentucky, to late parents Thurmond and Nancy Felty, Nancy was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is preceded in death by her husband, Roy Clark Smith, Jr., three brothers, four sisters, and daughter-in-law Alicia Smith.
Nancy is survived by her children, Patti Wells, David Smith (Susan), Rusty Smith (JoAnne), and Tom Smith, as well as her eight grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren. Nancy was a member of Kentoboo Baptist Church for nearly 60 years, where her faith was a cornerstone of her life.
Known for her love for family, Nancy enjoyed family gatherings and cherished time spent with her children and grandchildren.
Friends and family will come together to pay their respects at Kentoboo Baptist Church in Florence, Kentucky, on Friday, December 19, 2025, with visitation starting at 10:00 a.m. and the funeral service commencing at 1:00 p.m. Nancy will be laid to rest beside her husband, Roy, at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in Covington, Kentucky.
