Ghent, Kentucky – Michael Thomas Cooke Sr., aged 81, of Ghent, Kentucky, peacefully passed away on July 22, 2025, in Avon, Indiana. Born in Covington, Kentucky, Michael was a man of deep faith, strength, and kindness.

Michael was a devoted husband to the late Martha Cooke and a loving brother. His memory lives on through his children, Mike Cooke Jr. and Rebecca Bailey, along with his grandchildren and great-grandsons. He is also remembered by his stepdaughters, nieces, and extended family members.

A proud United States Army veteran who served during the Vietnam War, Michael’s dedication to his country was unwavering. He found solace in the outdoors and was an active member of the American Legion and New Life Church of God.

A visitation and funeral service will be held at Stith Funeral Home in Florence, Kentucky. Michael will be interred at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Erlanger, Kentucky.
