Mayor Ron Washington has been named the recipient of the Ruth A. Eger Leader of Distinction Award by the Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce. This award honors individuals who have made significant contributions to the Northern Kentucky region.
Mayor Washington, a graduate of Leadership Northern Kentucky’s Class of 2000, was nominated by his peers for his dedication to Covington’s revitalization efforts and community engagement initiatives. His work in regional collaboration was also highlighted.
The award will be presented at the 2025 Leadership Alumni Awards on Friday, August 22, at the Receptions Banquet and Conference Center–South in Erlanger.
