Union – Max Dean Murrow, 81, passed away on Thursday, July 31, 2025, at Hospice in Edgewood, Kentucky.

Max was born on April 2, 1944, to the late William and Maggie Murrow. He had a passion for sports and was an enthusiastic supporter of the Reds, UK, Ohio State, and Duke teams.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Fred Murrow.

Max is survived by his wife, Sharon Drew Murrow, his stepdaughter Melissa Connelly, stepson Mike (Elaine) Connelly, daughters Michelle Maynard and Abigail Shean, step-granddaughters Rebecca (Evan) Johnson and Kearsten Connelly, and grandchildren Alex (Angel) Cornett, Amanda Cornett, Tyler Shean. He is also survived by his brother, Mitchell, and sisters, Maxine and Shirley.

In honoring Max’s life, the family will hold private services.
