Dayton, Covington, and Florence, KY – Mary Jo Toole, a cherished mother, Nan, and family member, passed away recently. Born in Dayton, KY, Mary spent her childhood in Covington before residing in Florence for the past 16 years. She will be deeply missed by her daughters Rachel Toole, Christa Hall, niece Nicole Cooper, grandchildren Sydney Bergelt, Ryan Bergelt, Brooklyn Beers, Kaleb, and McKenzie Dawson, siblings Judy Hiler, Garla House, Richard Toole, Peggy Fornash, and Ronnie Toole, aunt Dixie Nickoson, as well as many other family members and friends.
Loving her role as a Nan, Mary shared a special bond with her grandchildren, bringing joy to their lives. She was greatly valued for her love of family, especially during festive holiday celebrations, notably Christmas. A private celebration of Mary’s life will be held by the family at a later date to honor her memory.
