Covington, Kentucky — Mary Darlene Arwood, age 75, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 2, 2025. Born on March 7, 1950, in Ft. Mitchell, Kentucky, to the late Floyd and Hilda Spegal (nee Mire).
Mary was known for her warm personality and sense of humor, always aiming to bring laughter to those around her. She shared a special bond with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, creating lasting memories and treasuring quality time with them.
Preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Hilda Spegal; husband, Price Arwood, Sr.; daughter, Darla Spegal; grandchild, Hannah Flowers; and multiple siblings. Survived by children Dawn Dmitriev, Robert Spegal, Toni (Stephin) Flowers, Hilary Hubbard; step-sons Tony (Penny) Arwood, David Arwood; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sisters, sisters-in-law, and extended family members.
A Funeral Ceremony will be held at 12:00 PM on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, with visitation from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals, and Receptions in Erlanger, Kentucky. Burial to follow at Wilmington Baptist Church Cemetery.
