Mary Ann Jordan Baker, age 87, of Edgewood, KY, passed away on June 10, 2025, at her home. Born to her beloved parents, the late Thomas E. Jordan and Mary Catherine Jordan (Snyder) in Covington, KY, Mary Ann leaves a legacy of love, compassion, and kindness.
Preceded in death by her brother Thomas A. “Buzz” Jordan, sisters Mary Rita “Reet” Jordan, and Mary Kay Jordan Fleming, and her son Greg Baker, Mary Ann is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Charles “Bud” Baker, her four children, Jeanie Baker (Adel AlDulijan), Beth Baker, Ric Baker (Karen), and Kelly Kremer (Scott), and her brother Bill Jordan.
Adored by a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Mary Ann’s nurturing spirit extended beyond her family to the countless students she interacted with during her nearly 30-year career at Thomas More College. Her dedication to ensuring students felt cared for and supported has left an indelible mark on many lives.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 26, 2025, followed by a memorial mass at Mother of God Church in Covington. A gathering to honor and celebrate Mary Ann’s life will be held afterward. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Mary Ann’s honor can be made to the Emergency Shelter of Northern Kentucky.
Even in death, Mary Ann continues to provide aid by donating her body to UC College of Medicine, reflecting her lifelong dedication to helping others. Her legacy of love and care will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her.
