Covington – Marian A. Houp, affectionately known as “Mae-Mae,” aged 70, passed away peacefully at her residence in Covington, KY, on September 13, 2025. Born on October 11, 1954, to Jennings and Louise Creekmore, Marian found happiness in life’s simple pleasures, such as visits to the boat, Graeter’s Ice Cream, Chick-fil-A meals, and caring for the numerous infants in her family. Her nurturing soul and loving nature endeared her to all who knew her.

Predeceased by her husband, Wayne Houp, siblings Brian Creekmore, Daniel Creekmore, and Kathleen (Mark) Carroll, and granddaughter Taylor Houp, Marian is survived by her sons, Tony (Luann) Houp and Tommy Houp, siblings Alice Margolen, Irene Kohne, and James Creekmore, grandchildren Chloe, Maddie, and TJ, along with many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends who will cherish her memory.

Honoring Marian’s wishes, no formal services will be conducted in her memory.

To pay tribute to Marian’s legacy, a memorial tree can be planted in her name through the Tree Store.
