Kenton County has introduced a new Big Blue Bin recycling location at 741-743 Dalton Street in Covington. This addition aims to provide residents with another option for recycling cardboard and reducing the amount of recyclable materials sent to landfills.

The Big Blue Bin program, managed by Kenton County Public Works, offers free, round-the-clock drop-off points throughout the county. These bins accept only cardboard, making it easier for residents to recycle packaging from deliveries, moving, or holiday purchases.

To maximize space in the bins, residents are asked to break down their cardboard boxes before disposal. A complete list of all Big Blue Bin sites is available on the Kenton County website. The site also provides guidelines about what materials can be recycled and which cannot in order to prevent contamination and help ensure that collected materials are properly processed and reused: https://www.kentoncounty.org/444/Big-Blue-Bin-Recycling

The City of Covington has encouraged its community members to use this expanded recycling access and expressed appreciation toward Kenton County for supporting sustainability efforts locally.
