Walton – Kathleen Murr, aged 88, of Walton, passed away on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at Storypoint Nursing and Rehab Center. A woman of faith, devoted wife, and cherished grandmother, Kathleen was a member of Beaver Lick Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Roy Murr, in 2020.
Survived by her children, Lawrence Johnson, Rick Murr, and Kristy Murr-Donovan, Kathleen leaves behind a loving family, including eight grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, and eight great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son, Roy H. Murr, and siblings Rupert Taylor, Brookie Telford, and Thelma Roberts.
Visitation to celebrate Kathleen’s life will be held on Friday, August 29, 2025, from 12-2 PM at Floral Hills Funeral Home, Chapel A, with services conducted by John Rodgers. The funeral will follow at 2 PM, with burial at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. Floral Hills Funeral Home is privileged to serve the Murr family during this time.
