Julia “Julie” Ann Moses Spaw, aged 73, of Mason, OH, formerly of Erlanger, KY, passed away peacefully on December 12, 2025, at Central Park Assisted Living in Mason, Ohio.
Born on June 29, 1952, in Covington, Kentucky, Julie was the daughter of the late Garnett R. and Genevieve Moses. Raised in a close-knit family, she cherished her upbringing and valued the memories shared with her siblings.
Upon graduating from Dixie Heights High School in 1970, Julie immersed herself in her musical talents, playing the clarinet in the school band. She found solace and community at Latonia Baptist Church during her formative years.
With a career spanning 24 years at Fidelity Financial Investments in account management, Julie demonstrated a steadfast commitment to the finance industry, earning a reputation for her attention to detail and reliability.
Known for her dry, sarcastic sense of humor, Julie found joy in bowling and shared a passion for the sport with her husband, Patrick “Pat” Spaw. Together, they traveled the country to compete in bowling tournaments, forming lasting memories of shared victories.
An avid sports fan, Julie rooted for UK Basketball, the Cincinnati Reds, and the Cincinnati Bengals, holding season tickets and dedicating herself to supporting her favorite teams. Holiday celebrations, especially Thanksgiving and Christmas, held a special place in her heart, symbolizing cherished moments with her family.
Julie was deeply missed following the passing of her husband Pat and her mother, leading to a more reserved demeanor in her later years. Her memory lives on through her family, including her brothers, nephews, niece, and extended family members.
Preceded in death by her husband Pat, parents Garnett and Genevieve Moses, and other family members, Julie is survived by her siblings, nephews, niece, and in-laws.
A brief visitation will be held on Thursday, December 18, 2025, followed by a service at Forest Lawn Memorial Park Chapel in Erlanger, Kentucky. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
