Joyce Ann Bryan, 82, of Union, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on December 16, 2025, in her home. Born in Sadieville, Kentucky, on May 18, 1943, to Lee Bailey Sowers and Arva Dean Noe (nee Vance), Joyce was known for her artistic talent, love for interior design, and dedication to her family.

Joyce’s artistic skills extended to her success as a hairdresser and cosmetologist, always bringing her flair for design into her professional work. She was an avid reader, and her creative eye allowed her to transform spaces into something truly extraordinary. Beyond her professional talents, Joyce was a devoted Christian, finding solace and strength in her faith and sharing her love for the Lord with her family.

Preceded in death by her father, mother, grandson Zachary Ziehm, and infant daughter Cindia Joy Sowers, Joyce is survived by her daughters Elaina R. (Bob) Wilcox and Tami A. (Cary) Lyle, grandchildren Devin Browning and Merrick Wilcox, and great-grandsons Cannon Ziehm, Abel Osborn, and Noah Osborn. Also remembered by her step-grandchildren Corey Lyle and Cara Lyle, brother Donald Sowers, and nephew Eric (Kim) Sowers, Joyce leaves behind a lasting legacy of love and creativity.

A memorial service to celebrate Joyce’s life will be held on January 9, 2026, at 3:00 PM at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions – Northern Kentucky Chapel in Erlanger, KY, following a visitation from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
