James Collins, aged 64, passed away on August 14, 2025, leaving behind memories of a warm heart, quick wit, and love for life’s simple pleasures. Born on December 28, 1960, James will be cherished for his passion for fishing, enthusiasm for the Bengals, talent in cooking meals for loved ones, and the joy he brought to all through laughter and shared stories.

A welcoming presence, James had a gift for making others feel at home, leaving a lasting impact on all who crossed his path. He is survived by his children James, Samantha, and Lindsey, grandchildren, brother Wally White, and sisters Charlene Perkins and Irene Hall.

Preceded in death by his parents Charles and Catherine Collins, grandson Carl, niece Anna Perkins, and siblings Ali, Eugene, and Kay, James’s memory will forever be treasured by those he loved. Visitation and a Memorial Service will be held on August 21, 2025, at Serenity Funeral Care in Covington.

James’s legacy will continue through the lasting memories and love he shared with his closest family and friends, leaving a profound mark for years to come. To honor James, a memorial tree can be planted in his memory through the Tree Store.
