Jack Melvin Miller, aged 84, of Crestview Hills, Kentucky, peacefully passed away on December 17, 2025. Born on July 30, 1941, in Chillicothe, Ohio, to Milford and Mary Miller (née Leisure), Jack personified determination, integrity, and an unwavering work ethic—qualities that defined his illustrious professional career and personal life.
A remarkable leader in the building industry, Jack retired as Senior Vice President of Marketing for Drees Homes, leaving behind a lasting legacy as a visionary and strategic thinker. His influence transcended his company, shaping the local and national homebuilding landscape. Through his tenure, he held significant roles in various home builders associations, receiving accolades such as Builder of the Year and the prestigious Donald M. Despite his professional accolades, Jack’s paramount pride resided in his family. He was devoted to his beloved wife of 60 years, Jean, known affectionately as his “California Girl.” Jack cherished his role as a grandfather, never missing an opportunity to support his grandchildren in their pursuits—whether sports, arts, or academics. Beyond work and family, Jack found solace and contentment at the family farm in Owen County, a place that held profound significance across generations. A proud Marine, Jack embodied courage and devotion to duty.
