Latonia – Holly Lorena Releford, 44, of Latonia, KY, peacefully passed away on Saturday, May 9, 2026.
Born in Covington, KY, on December 10, 1981, Holly was the daughter of the late Michael and Marcella Releford.
Holly’s deep connection to nature was central to her being. She often found solace and tranquility in the symphony of sounds in nature, particularly the sweet melodies of chirping birds. Holly treasured moments spent camping, swimming in the creek, and embracing the serenity of the outdoors. She lived authentically and boldly, reveling in driving with loud music, unabashedly singing along to her favorite tunes without a care in the world. Renowned for her honesty and candidness, she unreservedly spoke her mind, demonstrating a fearless commitment to her beliefs. Above all, her loyalty and love for her family shone brightly, unwavering even through life’s most trying moments.
Holly is survived by her devoted partner of 27 years, Robert Faehr; her son, Matthew Faehr; her sister, Christina (Joseph) Mai; nieces Kiley Releford, Harper Mai, Josey Mai, Ariana Releford, and McKenzie Releford, who held a special place in her heart; cherished nephews Dreyman Releford, Randy Cole, and Mikey Releford; step-siblings Christopher Fry and Gregory Diebold and their children; and many adoring aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends who held her in deep affection.
In addition to her parents, Holly was preceded in death by her grandparents, both maternal and paternal; her sister, Missy Releford; and her brother, Michael Releford.
There will be no formal service at this time, with a celebration of Holly’s life planned for a future date.
