Covington – Goebel Leonard Deatherage, aged 64, passed away on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Edgewood. A graduate of Simon Kenton High School and a member of Visalia Baptist Church, Goebel enjoyed hunting and fishing with family and friends. He is survived by his life partner of 40 years, sister, brother, and other family members. Visitation will be on Monday, July 21, 2025, at Floral Hills Funeral Home, with a graveside service scheduled for the following day. Memorial contributions may be made to Kenton County ASPCA and Cincinnati Children’s Hospital. Floral Hills is assisting the Deatherage family during this time of loss.
