Garland Ray Turner, 77, of Fort Thomas, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on July 3, 2025, at his home. A dedicated educator with Newport Public Schools and later as a substitute teacher in Campbell County and Cincinnati Public Schools, Garland’s commitment to education left a lasting impact. He enjoyed playing poker at the Campbell County Senior Center and cherished time with his family. Survived by his wife, children, siblings, and grandchildren, Garland will be remembered for his kindness and wisdom. Visitation and a funeral ceremony will be held at Dobbling Funeral Home in Fort Thomas, with burial at Evergreen Cemetery in Southgate, Kentucky.
