The Covington Farmers Market is set to host its annual Farm to Fork fundraiser on Saturday, June 21, at Covington Plaza from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. The event aims to support the market by featuring food items from local growers and vendors.
This year’s menu will be served buffet-style and includes dishes such as pineapple teriyaki bratwurst skewers from Hampton Ridge Farm, lamb gyro kebabs from North Valley Croft, sausage stuffed mushrooms from Pine Hill Farm, and sassy pimento cheese with pretzel bites from Boone Creek Creamery. Attendees can also purchase beer and ciders provided by West Sixth Brewing Covington Haus.
Entertainment for the evening will be provided by Meadowgrass Mule Unit, known for their high-energy blend of Bluegrass, Americana, and folk music.
The Covington Farmers Market operates under The Greater for Great Neighborhoods program and relies on donations and sponsorships from the community. The Farm to Fork event is restricted to adults aged 21 and over. Tickets are available while supplies last through greatneighborhoods.networkforgood.com.
