Covington, Ky. – A variety of events are scheduled this weekend in Covington, offering activities ranging from live music and markets to food festivals and art shows. This list highlights some of the events happening across the city.
On Thursday, residents can attend the Hendrick’s Gin Dinner at Juniper’s from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., enjoy the BCM Summer Concert Series from 7 to 9 p.m., listen to Grady Burton at Smoke Justis from 7 to 10 p.m., or participate in Disco Bingo at Galaxie starting at 7:30 p.m.
Friday’s lineup includes Dierks Bentley Row 94 Happy Hour at Smoke Justis from 2 to 5 p.m., Baker Hunt Music in the Gardens from 6 to 8 p.m., Leroy Ellington performing at Smoke Justis from 8 to 11 p.m., and the Brown-Brunson Quartet at Juniper’s during the same hours. The Inturns will play at Strasse Haus from 8:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m., while GENDERGRAV3S Magical Freak Show will take place at Galaxie from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m.
Saturday features Scarlet Begonia’s Flower Truck at Conveyor Belt Books between noon and 2 p.m., Unlock the Block Community Festival from 4 to 10 p.m., Live at The Village with Matt Waters Band from 6 to 10 p.m., Gunshine performing at The Madison with doors opening at 7 p.m. for an eight o’clock show, Madison Live presenting The Recreational also starting at eight, The Bluebirds Duo playing Smoke Justis between eight and eleven, Angie Coyle Quartet performing during those hours as well, Blue Samuel taking stage at Strasse Haus from half-past eight until half-past midnight, and Fremix: A Pop EDM Rave featuring Forealism running nine until two a.m. Sunday morning over Galaxie.
Sunday wraps up with Jazz Brunch featuring Gunner Gidnar Trio playing Juniper’s ten till one-thirty afternoon; Secret Dreams Decompression Session happening five through ten evening; Yoga alongside kittens hosted Purrfect Day Cat Café commencing seven nightfall followed by Kevin Fox entertaining Strasse Haus patrons starting half-past-eight continuing till twelve-thirty early Monday morning.
