David Jennings Routt, 83, formerly of Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 3, 2025. Born to the late Woodrow “Woody” and Mable Routt, David was a devoted husband, loving father, and skilled lineman for Cincinnati Bell.

David’s wife, Judy Routt, his brother Richard Routt, and his sister Janice Peck preceded him in death. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Rebecca Routt, grandsons Collen and Cameron Routt, nieces Nancy, Kelly, and Karen, and nephews Michael and David.

David’s love of golf, fishing, and woodworking were paramount in his life, bringing him joy and relaxation. He was known for his dedication to his work and his passion for crafting.

Family and friends will gather for a visitation on Monday, June 16, 2025, at Stith Funeral Home in Florence, Kentucky, followed by a funeral service. Burial will take place at Arlington Memorial Gardens in Cincinnati, Ohio.
