David Bruce Metcalf, 65, of Warsaw, KY, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, June 16, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Ft. Thomas, KY, on October 26, 1959, David was the son of the late Robert and Barbara Metcalf.

After serving in the United States Army, David excelled in a career focused on demolition and renovation, showcasing his expertise as a skilled handyman. His talent for fixing things and building with his hands reflected both his craftsmanship and care in his work.

As a devoted father and grandfather, David found immense joy in spending time with his family, especially with his children and grandchildren. Known for his gentle heart, he extended his compassion not only to people but to animals in the neighborhood, always willing to feed and care for them.

David is survived by his best friend and mother of his children, Debra Scrivner, his sons Randy, Daniel, and Bradley Scrivner, his daughter Cassie Scrivner, his brothers Bobby and Mark Metcalf, his sister Jackie Farris, and ten beloved grandchildren.

Services will be privately held by the family. David will be remembered for his steady hands, generous heart, and his quiet strength that he brought into every aspect of his life.
