This weekend, Covington will host a variety of events offering entertainment and educational opportunities. The Covington Parks and Recreation’s Movie Night at Hands Pike will feature the film “If” on Friday evening. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets, with snacks and drinks provided free of charge.

On Saturday, the focus shifts to environmental education with the Pollinator Market at Covington Pollinator Garden located at 302 MLK Jr. Blvd. This event aims to educate attendees about pollinators such as birds, bats, butterflies, moths, beetles, wasps, and their importance in the ecosystem. The market is organized by Covington Parks and Recreation in collaboration with Olla.

The Kenton County Public Library’s Covington Branch will host a Gods and Goddesses Ball on Saturday night. Participants are invited to dress as legendary figures for an evening of dancing and fun suitable for all ages.

Music enthusiasts can enjoy a free concert by the Kentucky Symphony Orchestra at Devou Park Amphitheater on Saturday evening. The concert will showcase music from renowned composer John Williams.

Additional live music performances are scheduled throughout the weekend at various venues including Behringer-Crawford Museum, Madison Live, Smoke Justis, Galaxie, Juniper’s, Madison Theater, West Sixth Brewing Covington Haus among others.

Various other activities include wine tastings at Crafts & Vines and Ripple Wine Bar; trivia nights; bingo; workshops; farmers markets; food tours; art sessions; and more happening across different locations in Covington.
