This weekend, Covington will host a variety of events for residents and visitors. Activities begin Thursday with wine tastings at Crafts & Vines, where guests can sample four different wines for $12 during two evening seatings. Ripple offers its monthly Sip Social in the Tasting Room from 6 to 8 p.m., featuring four pours for $20, free for Wine Cats Wine Club members. Braxton Brewing Company will hold Music Bingo on The Rooftop at 7 p.m., while Galaxie hosts Disco Bingo at 7:30 p.m. followed by karaoke at 9 p.m., with featured drinks available.
On Friday, Aviatra Accelerators presents a Women Artist Showcase: Art Show & Sale. Braxton Brewing Company continues its Party on the Patio series starting at 5 p.m. The Bandshell Beats concert series concludes at Devou Park from 7 to 9 p.m., featuring Sami Riggs and guest Coy Comer. Juniper’s welcomes the Mike Wade Trio at 8 p.m., and AJ Schmall & The Funny Business performs at Strasse Haus at 8:30 p.m.
Saturday’s schedule includes a cleanup event organized by the Kentucky Waterways Alliance along the Licking River from 8:30 a.m. to noon, offering food, coffee, t-shirts, prizes, and a happy hour for volunteers who register online. The Covington Farmers Market operates rain or shine from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Washington Street. Adults can join Board Game Day at the Covington Branch of the Kenton County Public Library between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m., while Esperanza Latino Center of NKY holds its annual Health Fair from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The Licking Riverside Historic District Home & Garden Tour runs from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., allowing ticket holders to explore historic homes and gardens in the area. The Carnegie will host the seventh Cincinnati Art Book Fair from noon to 6 p.m.
Braxton Brewing Company celebrates Fresh Hop IPA release with Hop Fest, which includes an IPA flight, educational booth from 1 to 4 p.m., and live music by Rumpke Mountain Boys in the evening. Behringer-Crawford Museum brings back freshART from 6 to 9:30 p.m., featuring live and silent auctions of local art, live music, and an all-inclusive bar; tickets are $60 per guest.
Additional Saturday events include Sunset Rooftop DJ Sessions with Galaxie at Braxton Brewing Company starting at 7 p.m., performances by Evan Gidley Trio at Juniper’s (8 p.m.), and TrashGrass Troubadours at Molly Malone’s (10 p.m.). Madison Theater will also feature various events throughout the weekend.
