A variety of events are scheduled in Covington this weekend, offering options for entertainment and community engagement. On Thursday, the NightLight 513 Outdoor Movies Series will show “Shrek” at Covington Plaza at 7 p.m., with tickets available online. Also at 7 p.m., Braxton Brewing Company hosts Music Bingo on The Rooftop. Music@BCM Summer Concerts will feature Ben Levin, Ricky Nye, and Noah Wotherspoon from 7 to 9 p.m. Galaxie offers Disco Bingo at 7:30 p.m. followed by Karaoke at 9 p.m., with $6 featured drinks. Ripple Wine Bar is holding a $2 Oyster Night while supplies last.
Friday marks the start of “GREASE” at The Carnegie, running through August 24, with tickets available for purchase. Braxton Brewing Company continues its Party on the Patio at 5 p.m. Old Kentucky Bourbon Bar introduces Northern Liberties bourbon from Northern Row at 5 p.m. The Baker Hunt Art and Cultural Center’s Music in the Gardens Outdoor Concert Series will present Mid Life Reverie from 6 to 8 p.m., while Estrada Do Sol performs at Juniper’s starting at 8 p.m.
On Saturday, the Covington Farmers Market takes place rain or shine on Washington Street from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunset Rooftop DJ Sessions with Galaxie will be held at Braxton Brewing Company beginning at 7 p.m., and Juniper’s will host the Brown-Brunson Quartet at 8 p.m.
Sunday activities include the Baker Hunt Student Art Show from noon to 2:30 p.m. The Kenton County Public Library Covington branch will host Covington Water Day from 2 to 4 p.m., transforming its parking lot into a water-themed play area featuring games, a fire department truck, a mermaid appearance, giveaways, and summer treats; admission is free and parking is available in the Midtown garage.
