The Covington Business Council (CBC) has announced the launch of “Deck the District,” a holiday decorating contest open to businesses throughout all Covington business districts, including Latonia. The contest aims to encourage businesses to decorate their storefronts and contribute to the seasonal atmosphere in Covington.

Displays will be evaluated by members of the CBC Executive Board based on creativity, how well they express the holiday season, and their impact on making Covington more vibrant and attractive for visitors. Prizes for the top three displays will be provided by member organizations of the CBC.

Key dates for participants include a December 7 deadline to complete displays, judging during the week of December 8, and an announcement of winners on December 15.

Pat Frew, Executive Director of CBC, stated: “We hope this program boosts winter tourism in Covington while also strengthening community pride among both residents and business owners. Our goal is to build a tradition that grows year after year.”

Businesses wishing to participate can register through the CBC’s online platform.
