The Covington Neighborhood Collaborative (CNC), in partnership with the Center for Great Neighborhoods, has announced the winners of the 2025 Holiday Home Decorating Contest. The contest was part of CNC’s “Glow Big or Glow Home” initiative, which encouraged residents across Covington to showcase their holiday decorations.

Residents submitted photos of their decorated homes, and community judges evaluated the entries using a point-based scoring system. The winners for this year are Steve Hedger from South Covington, Carolyn Chapman from Austinburg, and Andrew Hargis from MainStrasse.

Judges commented on the difficulty of selecting winners due to the high quality and creativity of all submissions. “Selecting winners was a joyful challenge due to the quality, creativity, and festive spirit reflected in all of the sparkling submissions,” they said.

Winners received congratulatory yard signs recognizing their achievements. CNC expressed appreciation to everyone who participated, noting that each decorated home added to the sense of joy in Covington during the holidays. “While only a few homes received formal awards, every decorated home contributes to the joy and warmth experienced throughout Covington during the holiday season,” CNC stated.
