The City of Covington has announced that police body camera footage from an incident on the Roebling Bridge, which took place on July 17, 2025, is now accessible through the open records request process.

An Internal Affairs investigation into how the Covington Police Department responded to the incident is still in progress. The city stated its commitment to transparency and a thorough review of the matter.
