City of Covington recognizes employees and officials with military service on Veterans Day

The City of Covington has recognized its employees and elected officials who have served in the United States Armed Forces as part of Veterans Day observances. The city released a list naming individuals from various departments who have military backgrounds.

“To each of these individuals, and to all Veterans in Covington, the City extends its deepest appreciation. Your service and example continue to inspire us every day,” the city stated.

Among those honored are members from Administration, Commission, Finance, Fire Department, Neighborhood Services, Police Department, and Public Works. Their service branches include the Army, Navy, Marine Corps, and Air Force.

The city emphasized that the dedication shown by these veterans in both their military roles and public service reflects a strong commitment to the community.
