Hebron – Christine Taylor, 88, of Hebron, Kentucky, peacefully entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, September 2, 2025. Born in Breathitt County, she was one of twelve siblings and the daughter of William and Laura Watkins.

Preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Lonnie Lee Taylor, Sr., and several siblings, Christine is survived by her sons, Lonnie and William, grandchildren Tiffany Mitchell and Zachary Taylor, great-grandchildren, and sisters Loretta Wilson and Carol Sue Wilcher.

Known for her independence, Christine led an active life, working for 36 years in the cafeteria at Conner Middle School and serving as a bus aide for 14 years with dedication and care. A devout Christian and longtime member of Central Church of the Nazarene, she will be remembered for her kind spirit, family devotion, and strong faith.

Visitation and a funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, at Central Church of the Nazarene, followed by burial at Sand Run Cemetery. Memorial donations can be made to Central Church of the Nazarene or Saint Elizabeth Hospice.

Christine Taylor’s legacy of hard work, devotion, and faith will continue to inspire those who knew her.
