Covington, KY – Catherine “Cathy” Beetem, age 79, of Covington, Kentucky, passed away peacefully at Rosedale Green on July 18, 2025. Born in Eaton Rapids, Michigan on January 22, 1946, Cathy was a spirited and joyful woman who found delight in life’s simple pleasures.
Known for her love of playing bingo, celebrating holidays, and enjoying shopping trips, Cathy’s true joy came from being a loving grandmother and great-grandmother to her family. She poured her heart into her role as “Grandma,” leaving a legacy of love and warmth.
Cathy was preceded in death by her parents, sons Jeffrey, Tim, and Michael, brother Larry, and sisters Anne and Pauline. She is survived by her brother Arthur, brother-in-law Phil, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
A visitation and service will be held at Linnemann Funeral Homes in Erlanger, Kentucky on July 28, 2025, followed by her interment at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Cathy will be remembered for her joyful spirit and deep love for her family.
