Carol Jean Hodge, 87, of Dayton, passed away peacefully on September 8, 2025, at Northwest Medical Center in Bentonville, Arkansas. Born on November 28, 1937, in Dayton, Kentucky, Carol was a cherished daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Known for her warmth, kindness, and generosity, Carol faced life’s moments with grace and strength.
Survived by her sons Jack Jr., Randy (Petra), Mike (Jackie), Shawn (Tracy) Hodge, daughter Kim (Tim) Stacey, 16 grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren, Carol’s legacy lives on through the memories and acts of kindness she has left behind. Preceded in death by her husband Edgar (Jack) Hodge, Carol’s family finds solace in each other during this time of mourning.
A funeral service honoring Carol’s life will be held on Monday, September 15, 2025, at Floral Hills Funeral Home, Chapel A, with Ray Hodge officiating. Visitation will take place on Monday from 12-2 PM, with the burial following at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
