Carol Ann Herald, 80, of Batavia, formerly of Taylor Mill, passed away on May 28, 2025, surrounded by her family. Born on September 13, 1944, in Dayton, Kentucky, to the late Benjamin T. Morton and Garnet J. Hawk Morton, Carol was a loving wife to Larry Herald and a dedicated mother and grandmother to her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her children Larry, Matthew, Alice, and Charlie, grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, and sister Esther Eversole.

Deeply devoted to her faith, Carol was a longstanding member of Calvary Baptist Church in Latonia, KY, and was actively involved with Undivided Worship center in Goshen, OH. Described by her family as the heart of their home, Carol always put others’ needs ahead of her own, embodying love and kindness in all she did.

Visitation will be held on June 3, 2025, from 11 AM to 1 PM at Floral Hills Funeral Home, followed by a funeral service in Chapel A, officiated by Pastor Larry Herald. Burial will take place at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. Condolences and floral tributes can be sent through the funeral home’s flower store.

Carol Ann Herald’s legacy of love, faith, and selflessness will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her.
