Florence – Beverly “Bev” Jo Snider, aged 78, of Florence, KY, peacefully passed away on Saturday, August 23, 2025. Born on September 8, 1946, in Covington, KY, she was the cherished daughter of the late Ed and Millie Snider.

Bev dedicated her professional life to assisting others, retiring from Cincinnati Bell after a fulfilling career in customer service. Her caring nature extended into her community involvement, especially with the Florence Freedom baseball team. Together with her sister Shirley, Bev co-founded and nurtured the “Host Family Program,” forging lasting relationships between players, families, and the community.

A passionate volunteer, Bev actively supported the American Cancer Association and participated in The Relay for Life for 17 years. Her love for animals led her to serve as an Equestrian Cross-Country Fence Judge at the Kentucky Horse Park, a role she cherished for nine seasons.

Bev’s warmth, dedication, and commitment to service will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. She is survived by her devoted sister, Shirley Brown; niece, Lori Snider and her husband David Skaggs; nephew, William Brown; great-nieces, Emily Brown and Amanda Peercy, and great-great-nephew, Micah Peercy.

A Visitation and Memorial Service to celebrate Bev’s life will be held on Sunday, August 31, 2025, at Latonia Christian Church in Latonia, KY. Online condolences may be shared on Facebook or SerenityFuneralCare.com.

Bev’s legacy of kindness, dedication, and community involvement shines through the lives she touched. To honor her memory, a memorial tree can be planted through the Tree Store.
