Dry Ridge – Betty Lou Parsons, 84, passed away on Wednesday, July 30, 2025. Born on May 4, 1941, in Bromley, Kentucky, to her adored parents, John and Lottie Stiens, Betty was a remarkable woman esteemed for her unwavering faith and dedication to Beechgrove Baptist Church.

Betty derived joy from life’s simple pleasures, finding solace in solving crossword puzzles, engaging in friendly bowling matches, and partaking in lively bingo games with friends. Her ultimate happiness, however, stemmed from the moments spent with her dear family. She is survived by her devoted son, Darryll (Kelly) Parsons, who will hold her memory close to his heart. Additionally, she leaves behind her cherished grandchildren, Daryl Anness, Stacey (Colin) Entrekin, and Karrlee Parsons. Betty took pride in her role as a loving great-grandmother to Charlotte Entrekin and as a beloved aunt to Sandy (Robert) Skeel.

Betty’s presence will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving her. Visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, August 5, 2025, from 11 a.m. until the funeral service at 1 p.m. at Stith Funeral Home, located at 7500 US Hwy 42, Florence, KY 41042. Following the service, she will be laid to rest at Highland Cemetery in Fort Mitchell. Online condolences may be shared with the family at www.stithfuneralhome.com.
